About Us

Hampar and Fundugh took a long boat ride to arrive at Ellis Island 1921 with their young daughter, Socie. They traveled from Armenia and settled in Detroit because they heard there were a lot of jobs and other Armenian families also settled there. They raised eight children in Detroit.

Our great grandparents had taken on their American names, Harry and Mary.

The original Harry’s Quick Lunch was a diner located on W. Fort Street in Detroit.

Many Detroit families had similar stories. Each generation has its own challenges and triumphs.

Our version of Harry’s Quick Lunch aims to highlight the epitome of triumph and personality of the real Detroit. We are proud to be connected to the coolest city there is.

Innovate. Hustle. Grind.
